The Sonoma County housing market has begun to accelerate as we move into Spring. The factors at play include a rebound in buyer demand, the low inventory of homes for sale, a surge in consumer confidence, financial markets hitting all-time highs, and a growing confidence that the Bay Area is going to be the center of the next big technology boom (Al). The heating up of the market is illustrated across many indicators- luxury home sales saw a particularly big year-over-year jump - and these indicators will almost certainly continue to improve in the coming months.
